Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead architecture for enterprise Salesforce programs serving Federal and Public Sector clients. You will guide solution design, technical strategy, and delivery governance, ensuring secure and scalable architectures aligned with mission goals.

You will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams, drive architecture workshops, and mentor junior staff while supporting pre-sales and thought leadership in the Salesforce practice.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and governing enterprise technology solutions with Salesforce.
• US Citizenship is contractually required for this role.
• Selected candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce architecture across application, data, integration, and security.
• Experience designing Salesforce solutions in Federal Government / Public Sector environments.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities (Apex, LWC, Flow, APIs, deployment).
• Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party apps using middleware and cloud platforms.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills with executive audiences.
• Proven experience facilitating architecture workshops and executive presentations.
• Application design and software development background with enterprise architecture principles.
• Ability to influence decision-making and drive consensus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture for large-scale Salesforce implementations, guiding platform capabilities and solution design.
• Define technical roadmaps and transformation strategies with clients and delivery teams.
• Lead discovery sessions and architecture workshops to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Design end-to-end architectures across Salesforce products and custom apps.
• Architect secure, scalable data models, integrations, security controls, and deployment strategies.
• Provide technical leadership across pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery oversight.
• Develop architecture artifacts: diagrams, technical specs, integration docs, migration plans.
• Lead architecture reviews ensuring Salesforce best practices and security standards.
• Oversee Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP and middleware.
• Advise executives on platform optimization and modernization.
• Identify risks early and craft mitigation strategies for project success.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers to align solutions with timelines and budgets.
• Mentor developers, admins, and junior architects.
