Job summary

ASD is seeking a Production Controller to support the manufacturing planning and production control team. This on-site role in Oxnard, CA focuses on inventory management, MRPs, and coordination across departments to ensure timely material receipt and distribution.

The candidate should have ERP experience (Deltek Costpoint), forklift skills, and a drive for 5S and continuous improvement with strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing inventory in an ERP environment.
• Familiarity with material requirements planning (MRP).
• Capability to operate forklift and related equipment.
• Ability to participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules for material requirements and availability for production.
• Interface with Production, Quality Control, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve material receipt and distribution issues.
• Conduct cycle counts and validate quantity, location, and revisions in ERP.
• Expedite materials and manage stock transfers to meet production and shipping schedules.
• Pack and ship outgoing orders via UPS, FedEx and carriers.
• Support metric goals and analyze flow of material to reduce lead times.
