Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an IT Specialist to support secure, mission-critical computing environments. You will provide hands-on technical support, system administration, and infrastructure monitoring across Windows and Linux environments, with a focus on secure, compliant operations.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), 2+ years in related IT roles, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2+ years in systems administration, network administration, or technical support roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and system administration support for two closed-enclave environments.
• Monitor infrastructure to prevent service interruptions.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software with end users in a hands-on environment.
• Support Windows and Linux operating systems in networked and standalone configurations.
• Assist with virtualization administration, including VM creation, migration, and backups in VMware vSphere.
