Job summary

Leidos in McLean, VA is seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer to lead the training development lifecycle for a classified government program. You will design learning experiences, conduct needs analyses, select innovative strategies, and develop, test, and evaluate courses and performance support.

The role requires TS/SCI with poly, a Bachelor's or Master’s degree with relevant experience, and expertise with Captivate.

Qualifications

Must possess a TS/SCI with poly to be considered.
Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with Instructional Design and Captivate.

Responsibilities

Execute all facets of the training development life-cycle for various training types (instructor-led, web-based, blended, performance support).
Conduct needs assessments and training needs analyses (gap, contextual, root-cause).
Select and design innovative instructional strategies and technologies to optimize learning objectives.
Develop, execute, and test training courses and performance support products.
Perform QA/QC activities including SME reviews, design reviews, pilots, and hot washes.
Create and conduct formative and summative evaluations across levels for impact.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in training project plans and schedules.
Manage and execute all aspects of training projects (schedules, resources, scope).
