Job summary

You will design and optimize data pipelines, collaborate with agile teams, and help turn complex data into actionable information.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years IT experience, strong SQL/Python, and experience with ETL, data modeling, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience including design, management, and solutioning of large data sets and models.
• Experience with developing data pipelines from multiple sources in various formats.
• Proficiency in ETL development and data validation steps.
• Proficiency to manipulate data with Python, R, SQL, SAS.
• Strong knowledge of big data analysis and storage tools.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

Responsibilities

• Complete development efforts across data pipeline to store, manage, store, and provision to data consumers.
• Be an active and collaborating member of an Agile/Scrum team and follow Agile/Scrum best practices.
• Write code to ensure performance and reliability of data extraction and processing.
• Support continuous process automation for data ingest.
• Advocate lean-agile engineering principles like API-first design, CI, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with program management and engineers to implement evolving requirements.
• Help cultivate an environment focusing on customer service, innovation, and teamwork.
• Work with cross-functional teams including UX researchers, product managers, and engineers.
