Job summary

CTC Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting complex software systems and mission-critical applications for Federal government programs. The role emphasizes cloud architecture, infrastructure configuration, and reliable cloud-hosted services within AWS using Terraform and CloudFormation.

Required are an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, extensive AWS experience, and strong skills in cloud migrations, microservices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; five additional SE years may substitute for a degree.
• Fourteen (14) years of SE experience in similar scope, type and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and high-level architectures to develop cloud infrastructure specifications.
• Design and implement cloud-based architectures supporting migrations, microservices, and containers.
• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation in AWS.
• Support integration between cloud services and existing applications.
• Coordinate and document integration with messaging systems such as ActiveMQ and Kafka.
• Plan deployment strategies for high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and integration issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage configuration baselines and coordinate changes to system requirements.
• Develop architecture documents, interface control documents, and test plans.
• Produce after-action reports on issues and improvements to SOPs.
