Job summary

CTC Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting complex software systems and mission-critical applications. This role emphasizes cloud architecture, infrastructure configuration, systems integration, and the reliability and availability of cloud-hosted services.

Candidates should have active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, recent AWS experience, and hands-on work with Terraform and CloudFormation for migration and high-availability

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• Recent experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Experience designing, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience supporting application migrations to cloud environments.
• Experience with microservices and containerized architectures.
• Experience integrating systems using ActiveMQ and/or Kafka.
• Experience designing and supporting high-availability cloud environments.
• Experience with systems engineering, architecture development, requirements analysis, and system integration.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and performing root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and architecture to develop cloud infrastructure specifications.
• Design and implement cloud-based architectures supporting migration and containerized environments.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation (AWS).
• Develop interface specifications for integration between cloud services and applications.
• Support integration of messaging technologies (ActiveMQ/Kafka) across cloud systems.
• Plan deployment strategies for high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Manage configuration baselines and coordinate changes to requirements.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation and test plans.
• Generate after-action reports documenting issues and improvements.
