Job summary

PotomacWave is seeking a Classification Technical Project Manager to support a Federal client in Washington, DC. The role oversees classification, prepublication reviews, foreign disclosure, training, and knowledge management within DOE-IN's PSIM division.

The ideal candidate will manage information management initiatives, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, develop processes, and ensure compliance with IC and DOE policies. Strong MS Office and SharePoint skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, intelligence, information management, or related field.
• Minimum ten years of experience in classification, information management, or related IC functions.
• Experience with Executive Orders, IC Directives, and DOE classification guidance.
• Experience conducting classification, prepublication, and/or foreign disclosure reviews.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and workflows.
• Ability to develop and document business processes and cross-organizational coordination.
• Proven ability to brief senior leadership and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience maintaining SharePoint sites or similar knowledge management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee information management initiatives supporting DOE-IN programs.
• Serve as primary contact for information management projects and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct classification, prepublication, and foreign disclosure reviews with recommended actions.
• Define scope, requirements, workflows, stakeholders, and roles for initiatives.
• Capture risks, issues, findings, and recommended solutions through project completion.
• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders through responsive technical guidance.
• Coordinate stakeholder efforts for classification reviews and cross-organizational initiatives.
• Lead the DOE-IN classification training program for SCI-cleared personnel.
