Job summary

Iron EagleX, a GDIT subsidiary, seeks a Software Engineer-Mid to support SOCNORTH at Peterson AFB. You will design backend systems for secure search and analytics using Python/JavaScript, with Flask/FastAPI backends, and CI/CD practices.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and five years of related experience, with five on-site days. Work includes data ingestion/retrieval, EDA on CAI/PAI datasets, and using Postgres via SQLAlchemy.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance is required.
• Experience: 5 years of related software development experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Certifications: None required; familiarity with AWS, Docker, and DevSecOps tools is preferred.
• Role requirements: 5 days on-site
• Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data-driven backend systems for secure, high-performance search and analytics.
• Develop applications using Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; Python with Streamlit, or React for TS projects.
• Create backend services and APIs with Flask or FastAPI; implement CI/CD and IaC.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on CAI, PAI, and other datasets; use Postgres with SQLAlchemy.
