Job summary

Millennium Space Systems is seeking Program Schedulers (Level 3 or Level 4) to join the El Segundo, CA team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining integrated schedules, performing risk analyses, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support aerospace programs.

Candidates should have 1+ years in aerospace scheduling, strong MS Office and MS Project skills, and experience with cross-functional collaboration. Level 3/Level 4 experience and EVMS knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in performing project planning and scheduling within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent tools), with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data in Excel.
• 1+ years of experience with standard project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Project Server.
• Experience in a role that required teaming and collaboration skills, and ability to work well with a geographically dispersed cross-functional and matrix team.
• Good Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Experience in a role that required creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, strong collaborative skills, strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
• Perform studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
• Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
• Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
• Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
• Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
• Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
