INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Security Automation Engineer for a Fort Worth, TX onsite role. You will write, test, and document code and automation, drive root-cause analyses, and mentor teammates to improve reliability and security across large-scale systems.

The role emphasizes designing self-contained systems, leading implementations, and ensuring observability, with focus on reducing vulnerabilities and delivering high-value work in iterative batches.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python with SDLC experience.
• Experience with FastAPI and RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with Vault/AWS Secrets/Azure Key Vault and security tooling.
• Working knowledge of Terraform, Git and GitHub, plus databases.

Responsibilities

• Writes, tests, and documents technical work products according to standards.
• Performs root cause analysis to drive fixes and improvements.
• Designs self-contained systems and leads implementations of key capabilities.
• Coaches team members to improve reliability, security, and performance.
• Defines test suites and instrumentation for latency and availability targets.
