Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking an Engineer - Cloud Security in Fort Worth, TX to design, implement, and enhance cloud security solutions across the organization. The role requires collaboration with project managers, stakeholders, and leadership to align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

The engineer will mentor cybersecurity professionals, support governance and incident response, and use scripting to automate security operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments.
• Strong cloud security principles, technologies, and controls.
• Scripting experience for security automation, operations, or engineering activities.
• Experience implementing and supporting cybersecurity solutions and security controls.
• Knowledge of threat detection, incident response, security monitoring, and best practices.
• Strong communication skills to explain security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud security solutions and architectures to protect enterprise systems, applications, and data.
• Develop and maintain secure communication protocols and cybersecurity controls across cloud environments.
• Support and enhance SOC capabilities, including monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
• Design and execute advanced threat detection and incident response processes to rapidly identify, contain, and remediate incidents.
• Develop security operations strategies, governance frameworks, policies, and processes aligned with organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate cybersecurity risks and status to stakeholders.
