Cardinal Health is seeking a Director of Security Architecture to lead and evolve the organization’s security architecture strategy, standards, and governance. You will align security design with business priorities, risk management, and enterprise GTBS strategies while driving secure, scalable technology solutions.

The role oversees architecture reviews, tooling optimization, and security-by-design guidance across development teams, with a focus on embedding security throughout the lifecycle

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity and security architecture experience.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with enterprise risk management and regulatory awareness.
• Advanced degree preferred (MBA/MS in Cybersecurity/Information Systems).

Responsibilities

• Lead the security architecture strategy, governance, and standards.
• Define target-state architecture and long-term roadmaps.
• Collaborate with BISOs, enterprise architecture, and technology teams.
• Oversee architecture reviews, risk assessments, and approvals.
• Embed security into the development lifecycle and M&A activities.
