Cardinal Health seeks a Director of Security Architecture to establish and lead the architecture strategy, standards, and governance for secure, scalable tech solutions. Reporting to the VP, this role aligns architecture with risk objectives and enterprise strategies.

The role drives all aspects of security architecture, including reviews, advisory for development, tooling optimization, and secure-by-design practices across the organization.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Experience in security architecture and enterprise design.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001).
• Experience leading architecture reviews and governance.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as healthcare or finance.
• MBA or MS in Cybersecurity preferred; professional certifications help.
• Cloud security, DevSecOps, and modern application development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead enterprise security architecture strategy, governance, and roadmap.
• Set standards for design principles, controls, and implementation guidelines.
• Oversee security architecture reviews and risk acceptance processes.
• Provide proactive security guidance during solution design and development.
• Embed security requirements early in the development lifecycle.
• Advance tooling and architecture optimization to strengthen security coverage.
• Guide capability development and roadmaps aligned with business needs.
• Engage with BISOs, technology teams, and leadership to ensure alignment.
