Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company seeks a Security Engineer to strengthen network and infrastructure security, develop security recommendations, and assess controls across the organization. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams will shape a modern security strategy and architecture.

The role requires experience with SIEM platforms, vulnerability tools, Windows/Linux, and secure design practices, with eligibility for Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience developing and integrating cybersecurity designs for systems and networks.
• Experience documenting and addressing organizational security architecture and systems security engineering requirements.
• Experience defining baseline security requirements and contributing to system security context and CONOPS development.
• Experience documenting protection needs and security controls for information systems and networks.
• Ability to perform security reviews, identify gaps in architecture or controls, and develop security risk management plans.
• Experience using vulnerability scanning tools for operating systems, web applications, and databases.
• Skill in translating operational requirements into security controls.
• Experience working with Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Hands on experience with Windows and Linux, including configuration, maintenance, and system management.
• Certification: CISSP, CCSP, RHCSA, GIAC; Eligible for Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of security frameworks, maturity models, and roadmaps for network and infrastructure security.
• Collaborate with identity, applications, data, and infrastructure teams to shape a cohesive security strategy.
• Develop security recommendations, assess controls, and contribute to security architecture methodologies.
• Perform security reviews, identify gaps, and support risk management planning.
