Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Security Engineer to bolster network and infrastructure security across the organization. The role will develop security recommendations, assess controls, and contribute to security architecture methodologies for networked systems.

You will collaborate with technical leads across identity, applications, data, and infrastructure teams to shape a cohesive and modern security strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of work experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• 3+ years of work experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience developing and integrating cybersecurity designs for systems and networks.
• Experience documenting security architecture and requirements.
• Experience defining baseline security requirements and CONOPS development.
• Experience documenting protection needs and security controls for information systems and networks.
• Ability to perform security reviews and develop risk management plans.
• Experience using vulnerability scanning tools for OS, web apps, and databases.
• Experience working with SIEM platforms.
• Hands on experience with Windows and Linux administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop security frameworks, maturity models, and roadmaps for network and infrastructure security.
• Collaborate with identity, applications, data, and infrastructure teams to shape security strategy.
• Perform security reviews, identify gaps in architecture or controls, and develop risk management plans.
• Translate operational requirements into concrete security controls.
