Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Security Engineer to strengthen network and infrastructure security, developing recommendations, assessing controls, and shaping security architecture with cross-disciplinary teams.

You will contribute to frameworks and roadmaps, perform risk-based assessments, and document protection needs for information systems and networks, leveraging SIEM platforms and vulnerability tools. Eligible for Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of related work experience in cybersecurity engineering
• 3+ years in cybersecurity engineering
• Experience designing security controls for networks and systems
• Experience documenting security architecture requirements
• Eligible for Secret Clearance
• At least one cert: CISSP, CCSP, RHCSA, GIAC

Responsibilities

• Contribute to developing security frameworks, maturity models, and roadmaps for network and infrastructure security.
• Collaborate with identity, applications, data, and infrastructure teams on security strategy.
• Perform security reviews and develop risk management plans.
• Document protection needs and security controls for information systems and networks.
• Translate operational requirements into security controls.
• Support use of SIEM platforms and vulnerability tools.
