Job summary

Salesforce is building a Professional Services Security Assurance team to deliver secure deployments and protect customer data at scale. You’ll act as a hands-on security expert, delivering high-impact engagements and translating risks into actionable postures.

This founding role shapes security standards and tooling within a high-scale practice. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure development and deployment, mentor colleagues, and drive security improvements for customers’

Qualifications

• Senior: 5+ years in Application/ Product Security or Security Consulting.
• Lead: 8+ years in the same fields.
• Hands-on security assessments including architecture, threat modeling, and tests.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and attack techniques.
• Experience with modern app architectures: web, API, microservices, cloud, AI apps.
• Strong communication to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, JS/TS, Go, C#).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Cybersecurity, Info Security or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements with in-depth security assessments.
• Conduct threat modeling to identify attack vectors and risk.
• Develop security assessment reports with findings and remediation.
• Provide practical remediation guidance and best practices.
• Collaborate to integrate security across the SDLC.
• Develop methodologies, automation, and security tooling.
• Define technical security standards and reference architectures.
• Research new threats and improve assessment approaches.
• Build strong customer relationships and leadership throughout engagements.
