Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture supporting enterprise IT. You will lead security strategy development, guide technical solutions, and ensure governance across the organization.

The role requires deep expertise in NIST/ISO frameworks, cloud security, vulnerability management, and incident response, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with legal, compliance, and IT teams to protect critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with leadership experience.
• Certifications like CISSP/CISM/CISA or AWS Security – Specialty are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, and identity management.
• Architect and implement security controls for on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct risk assessments for current technologies and applications.
• Develop and maintain a cybersecurity governance framework and standards.
• Oversee integration of security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability mgmt).
• Lead incident response, investigations, and post‑mortem evaluations.
