Qualco Group, a leading fintech company, seeks an experienced Cyber Security Architect to define and drive security architecture across on-premises and cloud environments at our Athens HQ. This hands-on role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to translate designs into real configurations and secure operations.

Reporting to the Architecture & Operations Manager, you will design reference architectures, perform threat modeling, embed security into the SDLC, and work with SOC/SIEM

Qualifications

• MSc in Information Security is required or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of dedicated Cyber Security experience relevant to Security Architect roles.
• Strong hands-on technical background with ability to configure and implement security controls.
• Experience designing and configuring security solutions across on-premises and cloud.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SC-100, AZ-500/SC-200, AWS Security – Specialty or equivalent are desirable.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Define, maintain, and evolve security reference architectures for on-premises and cloud.
• Perform architecture reviews, create threat models and risk-based recommendations.
• Contribute to technical security standards and assess solutions for compliance.
• Design security architectures for PAM, PKI, CSPM, and identity.
• Embed security controls into SDLC and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Provide input on GenAI/AI adoption and emerging technologies.
• Translate designs into working configurations and support implementation.
• Support day-to-day operations, hardening of cloud security platforms, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate vulnerability management activities and remediation.
• Support detection engineering and SOC/SIEM collaboration.
• Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats.
