Job summary

RTX is seeking a Security Specialist to provide personnel security support in a fast-paced environment. You will administer procedures per NISPOM, DoD directives, and ICD 705, handling processing, media control, and document marking in a classified setting.

Ideal candidates have a university degree or equivalent, plus experience with security databases, MS Office, and data entry. Travel or extended hours may be required occasionally as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Requires University Degree or equivalent experience, or advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience with NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, and ICD 705 is required/prioritized.
• Experience in data entry or database management and media control.
• Experience with Microsoft products (MS Office) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees on personnel security questions and actions.
• Operate in a fast-paced, schedule-driven program with limited oversight.
• Administer security procedures per DoD directives in classified environments.
• Support transmission of classified/proprietary material safely.
• Support internal reviews and government inspections.
• Investigate security infractions and prepare risk reports.
• Maintain personnel records and perform data entry.
• May involve extended hours in a deadline-driven office.
