Job summary

RTX in El Segundo is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to support the Document Control team and ensure compliance for classified materials. You will interpret DoD policies, manage security records, and oversee tracking of sensitive documents and access across a large cleared population.

The role requires US citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance on day one, with experience in NISPOM and document control.

Qualifications

• Experience with NISPOM, Document Control Databases and/or sensitive material databases.
• Experience with Microsoft products and tools typical in security documentation.
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree optional.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain security records using internal company security databases for classified material control.
• Assign and manage unique tracking numbers and security classification markings for documents.
• Conduct mandatory periodic audits and physical counts of all classified holdings.
• Execute secure cross-cut shredding, burning, or pulverization of classified materials with approved equipment.
• Maintain receipts, sign-out logs, and electronic tracking records of material possession.
• Assist with logistics coordination of shipping/receiving classified material.
• Review documents for accuracy, compliance, and formatting per 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM.
• Perform inventories, compliance validations, and incident reporting as needed.
• Assist in security assessments and access control for accredited spaces.
