Job summary

Maximus Global Services in Orlando is seeking a part-time security professional to provide escorted services for airport operations. You will follow airport protocols, monitor activities, and coordinate with the manager to ensure safety of personnel and property.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, English literacy, and the ability to work varied shifts in a demanding environment with physical movement and outdoor exposure.

Summary/Objective

Provide security services to different airlines and entities, exhibiting exceptional customer service and communication skills. Ensure the safety of property and people.

Essential Functions

• Provide security escort services to assigned personal or contractors. Employee will enter the secure area and escort the personnel, following Airport protocol and guidelines access.

Work Environment

This job operates at an airport in an office setting and/or outside weather conditions. Some functions require to be expose to high temperatures and/or very low temperatures.

Physical Demands

This position is very active and requires stand or walk constantly (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet). Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck, pulling and pushing to perform various duties.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a temporary position, part time. status. Days and hours of work varied from Monday through Sunday, with different shifts (service provided to customers is 24/7).

Required Education And Experience

• High school diploma or GED.

• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test

• Must be able to read and understand all operating and airport procedures and instructions
• Must be able to handle pressure of working with high volume general public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment)

Security Clearance (if applicable)

Must be eligible for CBP seal and pass the criminal background check to obtain the airport ID.
