San Antonio Airport, San Antonio, TX—Aviation Security Agent

ACTS‑Aviation Security Inc. has an immediate opening for an Aviation Security Agent to carry out aviation security functions as prescribed by Transportation Security Administration rules and regulations.

Established in 2001, ACTS‑Aviation Security is a wholly owned subsidiary of ICTS Europe specializing in aviation‑related security solutions, primarily focused on catering inspection.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect airline catering equipment and check for any unauthorized items in accordance with Transportation Security Administration security rules and regulations.
• May be required to perform aircraft monitoring according to airline carrier security specifications.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Report to Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager, depending on the size of the unit.
• Activities are overseen by Lead or Senior Lead, depending on the size of the unit.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Requirements

• New employees are required to complete an FBI Criminal History Records Check (SIDA Badge) and a confirmed 10‑year background check.
• Must not have been convicted of any listed FAA/TSA Disqualifying Crimes.
• Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis in order to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must be willing to work in cold temperatures, as it is a requirement for this role.
