Job summary

Capital Vacations, LLC is seeking a Security Agent to maintain the safety of guests and team members across our properties. This non-exempt role requires a calm, professional demeanor, strong communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

You will patrol areas, know emergency procedures and responding agencies, complete and file incident reports, keep logs up-to-date, and report to the Security Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record with no significant violations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains security of all property areas.
• Is familiar with all team members.
• Is familiar with all alarm systems.
• Maintains and knows emergency procedures and all responding agencies.
• Completes and files all necessary reports.
• Maintains log, keeping it up-to-date and accurate.
• Responds to all emergencies and reports to the General Manager.
• Reports any maintenance issues to General Manager.
• Maintains knowledge of check-in/out procedures.
• Maintains professionalism at all times.
• Approaches all situations with care and requests backup if the situation is questionable.

Purpose: The Security Agent maintains the security and safety of all team members and guests.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains security of all areas of the property
• Is familiar with all team members.
• Is familiar with all alarm systems.
• Maintains and knows emergency procedures and all responding agencies.
• Completes and files all necessary reports.
• Maintains log, keeping it up-to-date and accurate.
• Responds to all emergencies and reports to the General Manager
• Reports any maintenance issues to General Manager
• Maintains knowledge of check-in/out procedures
• Maintains professionalism at all times.

• All other duties as requested.

- Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.

Job Requirements

Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:

• High School diploma/ GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have and maintain a good driving record clear of significant violations.
