Job summary

Mariner Sands Country Club INC in Florida is seeking a part-time security guard to protect property and residents. The role includes access control, patrols, reporting incidents, and assisting guests and staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring alarms, directing guests, recording license plates, and maintaining logs and keys per SOPs. The ideal candidate can work weekends/evenings and holds a valid Florida driver’s license, with CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to verify authorization for access and direct guests, contractors and visitors.
• Performs mobile and foot patrols of the community.
• Maintains logs, reports, and records.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Verifies authorization for access to allow entrance or exit of employees, contractors, visitors, and guests and issues appropriate passes.
• Directs guests, visitors, and contractors to various parts of the community.
• Records license plate numbers of vehicles entering the property.
• Performs general housekeeping and maintenance duties at gatehouse and on patrol vehicles.
• Issue and receive keys according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitors Security Monitoring System and responds to security alarms.
• Completes all logs, reports, and records.
• Promotes good rapport with owners and/or members.
• Performs mobile and foot patrols of the community.
• Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences and malfunctioning of machinery or equipment.
• Answers telephone, verifies Personal Identification code, and records daily access information.

Summary

Reports to Director of Security. Guards against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Verifies authorization for access to allow entrance or exit of employees, contractors, visitors, and guests and issues appropriate to pass.

Education and Experience:
