Job summary

CapitalVacations in Duck, NC is seeking a Security Agent (Non-Exempt) to maintain the safety of guests and team members across the property. You will monitor security, respond to emergencies, and ensure accurate reporting and logging of events.

Responsibilities

Position Title: Security Agent

Reports To: Security Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Purpose

The Security Agent maintains the security and safety of all team members and guests.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations.
• Maintains security of all areas of the property
• Is familiar with all team members.
• Is familiar with all alarm systems.
• Maintains and knows emergency procedures and all responding agencies.
• Completes and files all necessary reports.
• Maintains log, keeping it up-to-date and accurate.
• Responds to all emergencies and reports to the General Manager
• Reports any maintenance issues to General Manager
• Maintains knowledge of check-in/out procedures
• Maintains professionalism at all times.
• Approaches all situations with care and requests backup if the situation is questionable.
• All other duties as requested.

General Statement

Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
