Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Account Manager in Thousand Oaks, CA, to lead daily security operations and supervise officers and supervisors, delivering exceptional service to clients. The role focuses on coordinating scheduling, maintaining client relations, and ensuring compliance across sites while driving safety and efficiency.

The position offers growth within a global security leader, with responsibilities spanning incident response, payroll oversight, and ensuring high-quality security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or personal vehicle for business purposes.
• Minimum of two years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and coordination with law enforcement.
• Proven ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Proficiency in web-based applications and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence.
• Financial acumen to manage staffing, overtime, turnover costs, and inventory-related costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling: Leverage AI-powered technology to schedule security officers, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime.
• Lead and Develop Security Teams: Hire, coach and manage security officers and supervisors while overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations.
• Enhance Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service that protects people and property.
• Handle Security Incidents and Emergencies: Respond to escalated issues professionally, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Direct Compliance and Security Operational Excellence: Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards as well as managing inventory (uniforms, equipment, and other supplies).
