Job summary

Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC is hiring a Safety & Security Tech I to support ICP Safeguards and Security (S&S) programs at the INL RWMC AMWTP site. The role requires security access control duties, badge management, and coordination of tours and vendors.

The position involves 12-hour shifts, and candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Q clearance. Proficiency with Windows and security documentation is essential, with onsite facility work in Idaho Falls, ID.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience in security programs and emergency management preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and security badge processes required.

Responsibilities

• Provide security access controls and maintain personnel accountability at RWMC.
• Operate and maintain the security electronic access control system including enrollment, badge issuance, maintaining badge inventory, and badge verification.
• Coordinate processing of tours, visitors, and vendors, and assist with obtaining dosimeters as needed.
• Answer phones and conduct radio communications. Provide administrative support for various activities to the S&S & Emergency Management organization.
• Issue temporary badges, verify personnel training, maintain access logs and badge inventories.
• Maintain checkout keys to secured areas and associated key records.
• Respond immediately to emergencies and support the emergency response organization.
