Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have 4 years of experience as an Access Control Officer utilizing security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
• Must have 2 years of experience as an Access Control Supervisor.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Ability to perform prolonged walking, standing, sitting and stooping for up to 12 hours.
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand English.
• Must be able to understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders/instructions and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Functional management and support of Action Control Officers and Security Escort personnel duties and responsibilities.
• Escorting all non-cleared personnel as needed.
• Verifying identification and briefing facility security responsibilities.
• Escort non-cleared workers to/from work areas for the duration of their tasks.
• Provide access control services for government facility locations as per SOPs.
• Ensure proper badge, equipment and media control for access to SCIF facilities.
• Verify visitor clearances via DISS/Scattered Castles and issue escort badges as required.
• Maintain CMS monitoring for access verification and validation.
• Keep shift logs and sign-in sheets, including inventory of government-furnished equipment.
