Job summary

DynaFire seeks an Security Access Control Installation Technician to support construction projects by installing, terminating, and commissioning security, access control, voice/data, and other low-voltage systems for our customers.

You will read blueprints, install components such as access control devices, cameras, door contacts, and more, and may drill holes or route cables as needed. This role requires ensuring proper operation of systems and safety compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints of low voltage systems and how related to the layout of a building.
• May participate in required DynaFire sponsored training and potentially serve as trainer.
• Pursue manufacturing training to become certified in a DynaFire low voltage system.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and install low voltage components such as access control, antennas, cameras, and door contacts.
• Install, terminate, and commission security and related systems per project plans.
• Drill holes, run cables, and mount control panels following safety and procedure guidelines.
• Test circuits, batteries, keypads, and sensors to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain tools and track time via ExakTime, adhering to project deadlines.
• Communicate with project managers, foremen, and AHJ as required.
