Job summary

DynaFire LLC seeks a Security Access Control Installation Technician to support construction projects by installing, terminating, and commissioning low-voltage systems for our customers in Florida. You will read blueprints, install components like access control, cameras, and door contacts, and ensure wiring and devices meet specifications.

You will also test systems, troubleshoot, document work, and collaborate with project managers.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of installation experience in access control.
• Participate in required DynaFire sponsored training.
• May be requested to share in training others.
• Possibility of manufacturing training to certify in DynaFire low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints of low voltage systems and how they relate to building layout.
• Install access control components, antennas, cameras, and door contacts.
• Drill holes and feed cables through walls, ceilings, and conduits as needed.
• Mount and test control panels; diagnose malfunctions and repair circuits.
• Coordinate with project manager or foreman and AHJ communications.
