Job summary

Empire Netting and Fence is seeking an Access Control Technician to join our field crews. You will travel the country installing access control systems, security gates, and fencing, reading blueprints, wiring, and coordinating with project managers to ensure timely completion.

This role requires at least two years of construction experience and OSHA 10. You must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel up to two weeks at a time.

Qualifications

• Two years of construction experience (preferably fence, access control, or field quality).
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, job plans, and project specifications.
• Perform low-voltage electrical work including wiring gate operators and access control systems.
• Welding and fabrication-related tasks; operate heavy equipment.
• Safely load, secure, and organize materials and tools on trailers.
• Communicate daily progress with project managers and the team.
• Maintain tools and equipment for crew readiness.
• Uphold safety expectations on every project.
