Mizuho Financial Group Inc. in New York seeks a Director to lead esoteric asset-backed securitization origination and execution. You will work with relationship teams to originate, syndicate and manage warehouse securitizations for specialty assets.

The role requires a minimum of seven years in securitization, superb modeling skills, and strong written and verbal communication. You will engage with rating agencies and clients in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant investment banking experience.
• Experience with term ABS and/or bank/conduit securitization.
• Strong modeling, analytical, and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Originate, syndicate and execute warehouse securitization transactions for esoteric assets.
• Generate pitch ideas, prepare pitch books, and meet with customers and prospects.
• Negotiate term sheets and transaction documentation with clients.
• Prepare credit and ratings applications and secure internal approvals.
• Process amendments, waivers, renewals, and reviews for existing deals.
• Develop models and perform credit/collateral analysis on esoteric assets.
