Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Securities Services Attorney – Assistant Vice President to provide legal support across the firm’s Securities Services business. You will negotiate complex service agreements and apply regulatory requirements while collaborating with business personnel and senior leadership.

You will work with clients including asset managers, hedge funds and banks, addressing diverse legal challenges and contributing to strategic initiatives within a global, multi-product platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with a major law firm or equivalent in-house.
• JD or educational equivalent; licensure requirements per jurisdiction.
• Ability to negotiate complex service agreements and draft precise documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Conflicts of interest clearance required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Review, identify, analyze and elevate issues raised during negotiation of complex service agreements for institutional clients.
• Contribute to oversight of contents and execution of documents.
• Determine applicability of regulatory requirements and coordinate with business control partners.
• Provide support to special projects across the Firm’s lines of business.
• Ensure day-to-day support of Securities Services and functional partners.
