Job summary

JPMorgan Chase's Legal Department seeks a Securities Services Attorney – AVP to provide legal support across Securities Services, focusing on negotiating agreements and handling complex commercial matters for institutional clients.

You will work with business teams and senior leaders, manage negotiations, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to a broad range of client-facing activities in custody, fund services, ETFs, and related areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with a major law firm or equivalent in-house.
• JD required and bar admission in jurisdiction of employment.
• Ability to negotiate and draft complex service agreements.
• Strong communication and client interaction skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex projects.
• Must pass conflicts of interest clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review, identify, analyze and escalate issues in negotiation of complex service agreements for institutional clients.
• Contribute to oversight of documents' contents and execution.
• Determine regulatory applicability and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Provide support to special projects across the Firm’s lines of business.
• Ensure day-to-day support for Securities Services business and partners.
