Formación

• 2+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably supporting litigation attorneys.
• Experience supporting securities litigation, commercial litigation, or complex civil litigation is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and other case-related materials.
• Assist with court filings and ensure compliance with applicable court rules and deadlines.
• Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling hearings, meetings, and other important deadlines.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.
• Monitor case progress and follow up on outstanding items to ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and other attorney scheduling needs.
• Assist with general administrative and legal support tasks as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive client and case information.
