Job summary

Raise is seeking a Claims Securities professional for a remote contract role focused on processing claims, QA and escalations to meet SLAs. You will handle data entry, communicate with claimants by phone or email, and use proprietary tools to review documents and decisions.

The ideal candidate has a professional degree or equivalent experience, strong attention to detail, and solid communication skills. Training lasts two weeks with remote sessions, and the 12-month contract runs on PT hours.

Responsibilities

• Follows written procedures and scripts.

• Uses proprietary software tools to access and review claim documents, enter claim decisions, and create escalations when needed.
• Communicates immediately to leadership all obstacles to completing work.
• Meets and exceeds departmental expectations for accuracy and productivity.
• Contributes subject area expertise to determine processing guidelines and assess if standards have been met.
• Utilizes documented team processes to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
• Data entry and verification.
• Drafts claimant facing communications based on guidance provided.
• Communicates directly with claimants by phone or email.
• Verifies data and processing requirements and makes corrections as necessary.
• Other projects as assigned.

Claims Securities (Remote/Bring Your Own Device)

• Pay Rate: $23.00/hour on W2
• Location: Remote | 50 miles within Approved HUB Location
• Contract: 12 months
• Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PT
• Training Schedule: 2 Weeks
  • Day 1: Remote from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM PT (Estimated end time, may be earlier)
  • Day 2-5: Remote from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM PT
  • Day 4-5: Remote from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM PT
  • Day 6+: Remote from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PT

Overview

• The Claims Specialist works on the full range of claims, correspondence, quality assurance and escalations to ensure the satisfaction of the goals and priorities of the team.
• The Claims Specialist also does their part to meet expectations of internal and external clients with respect to claim handling and Service Level Agreements.
