Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Securities Attorney with over 6 years of expertise in managing structured securities offerings to join its Investment Funds Group. This professional track (non-partnership track) position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in commercial real estate law, specifically real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The role involves representing public and private real estate companies, REITs, and financial investors in complex transactions such as acquisitions, restructurings, financings, and real estate development. This position offers flexibility in location across several offices in the United States.

Location:

Duties:

1. Manage structured securities offerings and represent clients in commercial real estate matters.
2. Advise on a broad range of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, financings, and development of commercial real estate.
3. Draft and review complex agreements and legal documents.
4. Provide strategic legal advice to clients on investment fund matters and transactions.
5. Collaborate with clients and team members to drive successful outcomes.
6. Conduct legal research and offer creative solutions to complex problems.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.
• Prior experience with commercial real estate law, particularly in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Experience in advising clients on securities law matters and structuring complex transactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent business judgment and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and within teams.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
