Job description

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled eDiscovery Attorney to join its team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex litigation matters involving the management of eDiscovery processes. The ideal candidate will have experience across all aspects of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and a strong desire to expand their expertise in this area. This non-partnership track position requires the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, maintain strong communication, and work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and vendors. Candidates must be admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction they are applying for and can be based in any location where the firm has an office.

Flexible/Remote (if applicable based on firm policy)

Duties:
  1. Manage eDiscovery tasks for complex litigation cases.
  2. Supervise and coordinate project execution to meet timelines, budgets, and standards.
  3. Draft and negotiate discovery-related protocols, orders, and agreements.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for case teams and clients regarding eDiscovery project progress.
  5. Coordinate with case teams, clients, and vendors on data identification and collection.
  6. Create accurate budgets and estimates for review projects, including monthly revenue forecasting and invoice review.
  7. Design and manage document review workflows, incorporating quality control (QC) processes.
  8. Oversee preparation of document productions.
  9. Provide training and guidance to review attorneys to ensure high-quality work and improved performance.
  10. Foster a positive team environment and ensure effective collaboration within the eDiscovery group.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience working in eDiscovery (in-house, law firm, government, etc.).
  • Admission to practice law in the jurisdiction in which the candidate is applying.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and strong business judgment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality work.
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery software and processes.
Education:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
  • Must be admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction in which applying.
Skills:
