Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced Securities Partner to join its sophisticated corporate practice in Florida. The role focuses on advising clients on a broad range of securities matters, including public and private offerings, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong client base and an entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of growing a securities practice within an entrepreneurial, collaborative firm environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Florida Bar admission (or ability to waive in)
• Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in securities and capital markets law
• Portable book of business strongly preferred
• Deep knowledge of federal securities laws and SEC regulations
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and client relationships
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach

Responsibilities

• Structure and lead public and private securities offerings, including equity and debt transactions
• Advise clients on SEC reporting and compliance, including Exchange Act filings and disclosure requirements
• Counsel clients on corporate governance, SEC regulations, and securities law compliance
• Represent issuers, investors, and financial institutions in capital markets transactions
• Provide strategic guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions with securities implications
• Drive business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships
• Mentor and supervise associates and contribute to the growth of the corporate and securities practice
