Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to support secure communications for FEMA in Bluemont, VA. You will manage Cisco networking equipment, plan new network architectures, and provide customer support.

Qualifications

• Must possess active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance.
• Available for travel within the continental United States for up to two weeks.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration and maintenance of Cisco networking equipment.
• Plan and implement network architecture elements.
• Provide support for data center assets and customer assistance.

Skills

IP routing and switching technologies

Understanding of OSPF routing propagation

Knowledge of network protocols (ICMP, IGP, etc.)

Familiar with Windows 10 and Server 2019

Experience with troubleshooting communications problems

Education

CCNA certification (required within 120 days)
