Job summary

General Dynamics - IT seeks a Secure Mobile Communications Engineer to provide on-site support for executive clients in the Washington, DC area. The role includes rapid problem solving, training material creation, and field deployment for secure mobile devices across SATCOM and VOIP platforms.

The position requires a active Top Secret clearance, the ability to travel CONUS up to two weeks, and independence to operate with limited supervision while maintaining flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience or 6 years of equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel within CONUS up to two weeks.
• Self-sufficient and capable of autonomous work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to executive level clientele at the customer location.
• Develop strategies to streamline the executive support process and deliver training materials.
• Record technical information and create digital representations of deployable systems and equipment.
• Assist in planning, configuration, installation, and maintenance of mobile and fixed communications platforms.
• Manage inventory and lifecycle maintenance documents related to operational equipment.
