Job summary

Tufts University’s Tufts Technology Services (TTS) seeks a High Performance Computing Engineer to design, develop, and deploy secure, compliant HPC solutions. You will build new services within the research computing ecosystem and integrate Open OnDemand gateways with Jupyter Notebooks and RStudio.

Qualifications

• Experience with HPC systems, gateways, and architecture.
• Familiarity with job schedulers (Slurm) and containers (Docker, Singularity).
• Scripting skills in Shell, Python, Perl or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy secure, compliant HPC services.
• Integrate HPC gateways with Open OnDemand, Jupyter Notebooks and RStudio.
• Use IaC and configuration management for project work; document progress.
• Collaborate with RT and TTS teams on network, storage, and security aspects.
