Loyal Source Government Services is seeking four Mailroom Clerks to support the Dallas VA Medical Center Mailroom in Dallas, Texas. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a notional duration up to 120 days. The pay rate is 20.02 USD plus 5.42 USD for health and welfare, reflecting the federal contracting environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• U.S. citizenship or legal residency as required for facility access.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience operating mail processing equipment and maintaining mail logs.
• Ability to use electronic tracking systems and basic computer applications.
• Experience with filing, records management, and document retrieval.
• Ability to lift 25-40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve routine issues professionally.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, sort, classify, route, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
• Process certified, registered, express, and other accountable mail while maintaining accurate tracking logs.
• Operate mailroom equipment including postage meters, Pitney Bowes systems, folding/inserting machines, sorting equipment, and parcel scales.
• Track and reconcile parcels using approved electronic systems.
• Deliver internal mail according to established routes and schedules.
• Organize, file, and retrieve records in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Report delivery discrepancies, suspicious items, safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, and security issues.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and HIPAA requirements when handling sensitive information.
