Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team evaluating secure DoD systems using Whitebox testing methods. You'll work on hardware, firmware, and virtualization, documenting findings and contributing to technical reports.

The role offers hands-on exposure to test environments, scripting, and secure architecture analysis while mentored by senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, hardware, or embedded systems, including academic, lab, or project-based.
• Experience with Linux distributions and basic system administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and the OSI model.
• Knowledge of basic hardware concepts such as FPGA, microcontrollers, firmware, and system architecture.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree by Summer 2027.
