Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Test Engineer to collaborate with developers, requirements analysts, and government stakeholders to validate software for our client. You will create test strategies, detailed procedures, trace requirements to verification methods, and execute tests across functional and non‑functional areas.

This role supports national security and requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience performing software testing, systems validation, or verification activities.
Experience analyzing and comprehending software requirements, and defining test methods.
Experience developing test plans, test cases, and detailed test procedures.
Experience conducting functional, integration, regression, or performance testing.
Experience communicating findings to development teams.
Ability to collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and government test organizations.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering.

Responsibilities

Create test strategies and detailed procedures.
Validate software for clients and collaborate with developers to ensure quality.
Execute tests spanning functional, integration, regression, performance, and mission‑relevant evaluation.
Track and report bugs, verify fixes, and guide improvements through the lifecycle.
