Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Test Engineer to design and execute tests, develop test plans, and collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality software for mission-critical applications.

The role requires 6+ years of software testing experience (or 10+ years without a degree), a Bachelor’s degree, and Top Secret clearance. Automation experience is a strong plus, with opportunities to grow in cloud and enterprise testing domains.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of software testing experience, or 10+ years with no degree.
Top Secret clearance required.
Experience designing and executing test scripts, test plans, and documenting results.
Experience with automation testing frameworks.
Experience creating/updating automated test cases or scripts.

Responsibilities

Design and execute test scripts, test plans, and procedures; document expected vs. actual results.
Develop and maintain automated test cases and scripts.
Create test data, observe software performance, and report defects to developers.
Automate security and performance tests and monitor analytics platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software quality and release readiness.
