Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced System Test Engineer to join our team supporting government software projects. You will design, implement, and execute testing for cloud-based solutions, automate security and performance tests, and work closely with developers, requirements managers, and end users to ensure reliable, secure software releases.

As a System Test Engineer, you will create test procedures, analyze results, and help drive product quality improvements across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with software development methodologies and processes.
• 5+ years of experience with functional testing.
• 4+ years of experience with test plan and test report writing.
• Experience creating automated test scripts.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to assess and comprehend system and functional requirements, write and maintain technical documents, and troubleshoot and debug.
• Ability to be a team player and drive collaborative efforts to improve product quality.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop moderately complex test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services.
• Design and build moderately complex test stations.
• Write moderately complex test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluate performance against standards.
• Gather test data and evaluate results to determine if designs meet specifications.
• Develop moderately complex test simulations to evaluate product behavior under varying conditions.
• Debug moderately complex test hardware and software.
• Analyze test cases and report results.
• Collaborate with engineering groups to improve product performance.
