Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a versatile software engineer to join a small agile team designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable software for government customers. You will translate mission requirements into technical specifications and implement robust code.

This role requires a TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and experience in SDLC, security, and DevSecOps pipelines. You will work in a fast-paced environment with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in federal or defense environments.
• US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance and in-scope full-scope polygraph required on Day 1.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions for government customers.
• Translate mission requirements into technical specifications and implement robust, maintainable code.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and security compliance.
• Support DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD processes for rapid and secure deployment.
